Description
“Impact of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on NECA Contractors” will be presented by a panel of experts. Due to the potential for changes in the law, like the recent decision to delay the employer penalty for less than 50 employees until 2015, before the Convention that could be crucial and of concern to everyone, the General Session panel will offer the most current and timely information about the “Impact of the Affordable Care Act on NECA Contractors”.
We do know that the law affects multi-employer plans for those employees covered by the collective bargaining agreements as well as employees outside the bargaining unit. The General Session at the Convention will attempt to address issues that cover all employees.
