Description

This course will focus on integrated project delivery (IPD) from an electrical contractor’s perspective. We will go over the structure and concept of IPD, to include its implementation on current projects. We will also discuss the pros and cons of IPD, to include an assessment of risks and legal pitfalls. Statistical data, recent developments and project examples will be discussed.

    Allen is a partner at Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker, LLP, where he represents general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in all phases of project administration and delivery, including contract drafting/negotiation, project performance, project disputes, project closeout and warranty issues on Federal, State and Municipal projects located primarily on the West Coast.

    Allen is committed to contractor education and has lectured on a variety of topics which affect the construction industry, to include multi-state construction issues, indemnity clauses and contract language, project administration, contract drafting and review, bid protests, renewable energy projects, project delivery systems and green building.
